Kintyre Pennisula

Campbeltown to Southend

Enjoy coastal views around the southern tip of the Kintyre Peninsula.

Travelling anticlockwise, a gentle start is followed by big hills outside Campbeltown, with the loop concluding with the reward of a flat run past the tidal island of Davaar.

Stop for refreshments at the aptly named village of Southend, where you’ll also find St. Columba's Chapel, his footprints embedded in a rock, the Holy Well and Keil Cemetry.
